COOL COUNTRY SQUIRE
1951 was the last year of the true woodie wagon produced by the Ford Motor Company. This 1951 Country Squire station wagon has undergone a complete, thorough, factory correct, frame off restoration just a mere 15,000 miles ago and still appears to have been done yesterday. This woodie’s restoration is one of the finest of any 1951 Ford that Woodies USA has ever had in our inventory. The body color is a very rare, Sea Island Green, which is a very beautiful pale green. The paint contrasts nicely with the new Maple and Mahogany, Rick Mack wood kit, finished in multiple coats of Marine Spar Varnish. The rebuilt 239 cu” flathead V-8 engine purrs like a kitten. Also, the rebuilt overdrive 3 speed transmission shifts smoothly and carries the woodie down the road at freeway speeds. The wagon’s options include: V-8 engine, 3 speed overdrive transmission, factory turn signals, push button radio, hot water heater, clock, white wall tires, sun visor and oil bath air cleaner. I must re-emphasize that this 1951 Country Squire Ford station wagon is by far the nicest, most authentic, 1951 Ford restoration we have ever had for sale to date!
