As commonly known, the 1942 Ford is one of the rarest of the Ford Motor Company's line of Woodie Wagons.
This 1942 Ford Super Deluxe wagon underwent a frame off restoration some time ago and shows very nicely. The stock color of maroon has been applied over a very straight body. The interior is stock style and is in very nice condition. The engine is a nicely dressed, rebuilt 350 cubic" Chevrolet V-8 with a four barrel carburetor. The V-8's power is channeled through a freshly rebuilt Chevrolet 350 automatic transmission and culminates with a disc brake Ford Explorer rear end with freeway gearing. The front end is a stock style but with disc brakes and rack and pinion power steering. This Super Deluxe Woodie is a dream to drive and purrs down the highway at freeway speeds and then, when needed, "stops on a dime" with power 4 wheel disc brakes.
The wagon's features include: A stock looking '42 Ford exterior and interior with cold indash A/C, 4 wheel power disc brakes, rack and pinion power steering, stereo radio with CD player, wide white wall tires, and stock hubcaps for that stock vintage look.
Come see and drive this beautiful "STOCK STYLE" Super Deluxe 1942 Ford Woodie wagon at our Southern California show room today.
