1951 was the last year Ford Motor Company produced what is recognized, in the woodie world, as the last year of the authentic woodie wagon. The staff at WoodiesUSA is offering for sale one of the nicest, slightly modified, Country Squire woodie wagons to date. The woodie has undergone a full frame off restoration some time ago but shows very nicely.
The paint is Ford Glenmist green that contrasts beautifully with the new (Rick Mack) maple frame and ribbon mahogany wood body, sporting multiple coats of Marine Spar varnish. The interior is the stock 3 seat configuration that seats a family of 8 for rides to destinations of dreams. The engine is the stock, rebuilt, 239 cu" flathead, nicely detailed.
The woodie rides on Coker wide white wall radial tires for safety and comfort. The headliner is slightly modified, sporting very tasteful miniature palm trees with an off white
The front end of the woodie is lowered slightly to give the woodie a cool look.
This 1951 Ford Country Squire woodie wagon is a dream to drive at freeway speeds due to the optional 3 speed transmission with overdrive.
Come see and drive this beauty at our Southern California showroom, as it will not last long.
