1947 Ford Super Deluxe

     The Ford Motor Company, under the supervision of Henry Ford Junior, was very innovative in using surplus parts left over from the previous year model.  This early 1947 Ford wagon is an example of Ford's conservative attitude and sports 1946 trim from the factory!  This woodie had undergone a full frame off restoration some years ago and still shows beautifully. The deep blue color paint shows well and contrasts nicely with the refinished maple wood with ample coats of spar varnish.  The correct style leather interior looks and smells of new. The dash sports the factory finish with some slight wear but is very acceptable. The wagon has a rebuilt 239 cubic inch flathead engine and 3 speed stick transmission.
